Joel's 30th Birthday

In March, I pulled off a surprise 30th birthday party for Joel.  It was so hard to keep all of the little detail plans that were going on behind the scenes from Joel during the month that I was planning it.

We had great friends and family that were gracious enough to help celebrate this milestone.  Joel was completely surprised - no clue anything was being planned.

Here are some pictures from the fun night.

Joel's first view of the party attenders - while they were yelling surprise.

Sanders saying something like: We got you :)

Joel's 30" party pizza for his 30th birthday.  This came from a local pizza place (our favorite).  Since Joel saw one when we first moved here he has wanted to get one.  It's not everyday that a 30" pizza is doable, so I thought this would be the perfect occasion!

Here you can get a good idea of just how large the pizza actually is.

Uncle Joel and Harris - Harris' first trip to GA.

 Blowing out his candles!

The Oakley clan that was in attendance.  We are very blessed with a great family.  I was thrilled to find out that his family would be able to make the long drive to make this night even more special.

A look at the party attenders waiting to say surprise.
